Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a discipline that aims to promote health by enabling people to perform meaningful and purposeful activities. Our occupational therapists work with patients who suffer from a mentally, physically, developmentally, and/or emotionally disabling condition by utilizing advanced treatments that develop, recover, or maintain patient's activities of daily living. Our therapist helps clients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also helps them compensate for permanent loss of function. Our goal is to help patients have an independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

Our occupational therapy services include:

  • Comprehensive evaluation, during which patient's family and our therapists determine patient's goals.
  • Customized intervention to improve the person's ability to perform daily activities and reach their set goals.
  • Outcomes Evaluation to ensure that goals are being met and/or make changes to the Intervention Plan.

Our occupational therapy evaluation also includes comprehensive evaluation of client's home and other environments, recommendation for adaptive equipment, and training and education for family members and care givers.
